Setting Up Your Account
Your account profile powers your booking website, customer communications, and receipts. Take a few minutes to complete your setup for a professional appearance.
What You'll Set Up
- Business name and description
- Contact information
- Logo and branding
- Time zone and currency
- Basic preferences
Step 1: Access Account Settings
- Go to Account → Account Info in the navbar
- This opens your business settings page
Step 2: Business Information
Fill in your core business details:
Business Name
The name customers see on your booking site and in emails.
Tips:
- Use your official business name
- Keep it recognizable to customers
- Avoid abbreviations unless well-known
Business Description
A brief description of what you offer. This appears on your booking site.
Example:
Lake Travis's premier pontoon boat rental service. Family-friendly boats perfect for parties, fishing, and relaxation.
Address
Your primary business address. This helps customers find you and appears on receipts.
Step 3: Contact Information
Phone Number
The number customers should call with questions. Include area code.
Email Address
Primary email for booking notifications and customer inquiries. Make sure you check this inbox regularly.
Website (Optional)
Your main business website, if you have one separate from your RecSystems booking site.
Step 4: Upload Your Logo
A logo makes your booking site and emails look professional.
- Click Upload Logo
- Select an image file (PNG or JPG recommended)
- Crop or adjust as needed
- Click Save
Logo Tips:
- Use a square or horizontal format
- Minimum 200x200 pixels recommended
- PNG with transparent background works best
- Keep file size under 2MB
Step 5: Time Zone
Set your business time zone so bookings display correctly.
- Click the Time Zone dropdown
- Search for your city or select from the list
- Verify the current time shown is correct
Important: All booking times will display in this time zone. Make sure it matches where your rental business operates.
Step 6: Currency
Select the currency for pricing and payments.
- Click the Currency dropdown
- Select your currency (USD, CAD, EUR, etc.)
Note: Currency affects how prices display. Your actual payment processing currency is configured separately in payment settings.
Step 7: Save Your Changes
Click Save at the bottom of the page. You'll see a confirmation message when your changes are saved.

- Set up payments — Connect your bank account
- Customize your booking site — Add colors and branding
Common Questions
Can I have multiple business names?
Your account has one primary business name. If you operate multiple brands, contact support about multi-account options.
What if I move locations?
Update your address in Account → Account Info. Your booking site will reflect the new address immediately.
How do I change my logo?
Go to Account → Account Info and click on your current logo to upload a new one.
