Summary

RecSystems is a production booking engine for recreational rentals — boats, powersports, UTVs, jet skis. We've already integrated with DX1 and want to be Lightspeed's recommended rental partner.

We know you're building an Accounting API. We want to be your first integration partner for it — we'll adapt to whatever pattern you're building and provide honest feedback to help you ship it right.

We can also share our AI expertise. We've shipped production agentic AI systems and are happy to help inform Lightspeed's AI strategy.

Why Partner With Us

YOU'RE SUNSETTING RENTAL — WE'RE ALL-IN ON IT

Lightspeed owns the dealership (sales, service, parts, accounting). We own the rental customer journey (booking, payments, conversion). Complementary, not competitive.

WE'VE ALREADY DONE THIS

Our DX1 integration is live in production: inventory import, AI fleet classification, photo ingestion, content generation. We can adapt the same pattern to Lightspeed's 3PA API in weeks.

WE WANT TO BE YOUR ACCOUNTING API GUINEA PIG

We'll implement whatever pattern works for you — batch reconciliation, live push, webhooks, websockets, polling. Rental transactions are complex (deposits, refunds, date changes, multi-day spans). We've already solved this. Let us help you validate the API design with real data.

WE CAN SHARE AI EXPERTISE

We run production AI systems: agentic workflows with tool calling, structured outputs, three-tier fallbacks, full audit logging. If Lightspeed is exploring AI for the core DMS, we're happy to share architecture patterns and lessons learned. No consulting fees — just practitioners helping practitioners.

We read docs before asking questions. We debug our own code. We test thoroughly. We won't spam your support team or blame your API when our code is wrong.
