Pricing Model
How does RecSystems pricing work?
RecSystems uses a transaction-based pricing model rather than a fixed monthly subscription. You pay a platform fee (a percentage of each transaction) which means you only pay when you make money.
Benefits of this model:
- No upfront costs
- No fixed monthly charges
- Costs scale with your revenue
- Pay only when you earn
What is the platform fee?
The platform fee is 10% per booking, which includes credit card processing. This is an all-in fee — you're not charged separately for Stripe's payment processing.
Example:
- Customer pays $300 for a rental
- Platform fee (10%, includes CC processing): $30
- You receive: $270
The 10% covers everything: credit card processing, platform access, Rex AI, all features, and support.
Are there monthly fees?
No. There are no monthly subscription fees. Your only cost is the 10% per booking, which includes credit card processing.

Does the 10% include credit card processing?
Yes. The 10% platform fee includes Stripe's credit card processing fees. You are not charged separately for payment processing — it's all included in the 10%.
Payments & Payouts
When do I receive my money?
Payouts follow Stripe's standard schedule:
- New accounts: 7 business days
- Established accounts: 2-3 business days
Payouts are deposited directly to your linked bank account.
How often do I get paid?
By default, payouts are processed daily on a rolling basis. You can adjust your payout schedule in your Stripe dashboard.
Can I see a breakdown of fees?
Yes. In your RecSystems reports:
- View platform fees deducted
- View payment processing fees
- Export detailed transaction reports
What happens with refunds?
When you refund a customer:
- Customer receives full refund amount
- Payment processing fees are NOT refunded (Stripe policy)
- Platform fees may be refunded depending on your agreement
Billing Questions
Do you charge for features?
All standard features are included in the platform. There's no feature-based pricing tiers. Premium support or custom development may have additional costs.
Is there a minimum fee?
No. If you have no bookings, you pay nothing. The platform fee only applies when transactions occur.
How do I see my fees?
- Go to Bookings → Reports in the navbar
- View the Financial Summary
- Platform fees are shown in the breakdown
- Export for detailed records
Can I get a different rate?
Platform fee rates may be negotiated based on:
- Transaction volume
- Business size
- Partnership arrangements
- Enterprise agreements

Tax Questions
Are platform fees taxable?
Platform fees are a cost of doing business (service expense). Consult your accountant for how to properly deduct them.
Do you collect sales tax for me?
RecSystems calculates and collects sales tax from your customers based on your configured tax rates. This tax is included in your payouts—you're responsible for remitting it to tax authorities.
Do you provide tax documents?
You can export all transaction data for tax reporting purposes. We recommend working with your accountant for proper tax documentation.
Account Management
How do I cancel?
You can cancel your RecSystems account at any time:
- Contact support at [email protected]
- Request account closure
- Your data remains accessible for export
What happens when I cancel?
- Your booking website goes offline
- Your dashboard remains accessible temporarily
- You can export all your data
- Pending payouts are still processed
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
There are no plans to upgrade or downgrade. All features are included. If you need custom arrangements, contact our team.
Do you offer refunds on fees?
Platform fees are earned when transactions occur and are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made for technical issues or service problems—contact support.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?
You need to connect a Stripe account to accept payments, but there's no upfront charge to create a RecSystems account.
