Forgot Password
How to Reset
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot your password?
- Enter your email address
- Click Send Reset Instructions
- Check your email (including spam/junk)
- Click the link in the email
- Enter and confirm your new password
Reset Link Not Working

| Link already used | Can only use once—request new reset |
| Invalid link | Make sure you copied the entire link |
No Reset Email Received
- Check spam/junk folder
- Verify email address — Did you use the right one?
- Wait a few minutes — Emails usually arrive within 1-2 minutes
- Try again — Request another reset
- Contact admin — They can verify your account email
Multiple Failed Attempts
What Happens After Failed Logins
If you enter the wrong password multiple times, you won't be locked out, but you should:
- Stop and verify — Make sure Caps Lock is off
- Reset your password — Use Forgot Password? to get a fresh start
- Check your email — Make sure you're using the right account

Verification Failed
What Is Verification?
RecSystems uses security verification to protect against automated attacks. You may see a challenge or checkbox during login.
Common Issues
Verification failed error:
- Refresh the page and try again
- Complete the challenge if shown
- Wait a moment — don't click repeatedly
Challenge won't load:
- Check internet connection
- Disable ad blockers temporarily
- Try a different browser
- Clear browser cache
Verification loops:
- Clear cookies and cache
- Try incognito/private mode
- Use a different browser
- Check for VPN issues (some VPNs cause problems)
Browser Issues
Some browser settings can interfere:
- Ad blockers — May block verification scripts
- Privacy extensions — Can prevent challenges from loading
- JavaScript disabled — Must be enabled
- Cookies blocked — Allow cookies from RecSystems
Email Not Confirmed
New Account Setup
After creating an account, you must confirm your email:
- Check your inbox for Confirmation Instructions
- Click the confirmation link
- You'll be signed in automatically
Confirmation Email Missing
- Check spam/junk folder
- Search for RecSystems in all mail

- Click Didn't receive confirmation instructions?
- Enter your email
- New confirmation sent
Confirmation Link Issues

Wrong Account or Can't Access
Multiple Accounts
If you have access to multiple accounts:
- Log in to RecSystems
- Click your name/account switcher
- Select the correct account
Wrong Role/Permissions
If you can log in but can't access certain features:
- Check with your account admin
- You may need a different role
- Some features are admin-only
Never Had an Account
If you're trying to access an account but were never invited:
- Contact the account owner/admin
- They need to add you as a team member
- You'll receive an invitation email
Session Expired
Session expired Message
Your login session ends after:
- Extended inactivity
- Browser was closed
- Logged in on another device (some settings)
Solution: Simply log in again.
Staying Logged In
Check Remember me on the login page to stay logged in longer on this device.
Note: For shared computers, don't use Remember me and always log out when done.
Login Page Issues
Page Won't Load
- Check your internet connection
- Try a different browser
- Clear cache and cookies
- Try again later (rare server issues)
Redirect Loop
If you keep getting sent back to login:
- Clear browser cookies
- Clear cache
- Try incognito/private mode
- Check that cookies are enabled
Wrong Domain
Make sure you're on the correct URL:
- Check for typos in the address
- Bookmark the correct login page
- Use links from official emails
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
If You Use 2FA
- Enter your password
- Enter the code from your authenticator app
- Codes change every 30 seconds
Lost Access to 2FA
If you can't access your authenticator:
- Contact your account admin
- They can disable 2FA for your account
- Set it up again with a new device
Codes Not Working
- Check your device clock is accurate
- Use the latest code (they refresh every 30 seconds)
- Make sure you're entering for the right account
