Unit Details & Specifications - Complete Your Rental Listings
Unit Details & Specifications
Great unit listings help customers choose the right rental and increase your conversion rate. This guide covers how to add photos, descriptions, specifications, and marketing content to make your units stand out.
Why Details Matter
Complete unit listings:
- Convert better — Customers book when they know what they're getting
- Reduce questions — Answer common questions before they're asked
- Rank higher — Search engines favor detailed content
- Build trust — Professional listings inspire confidence
Photos
Photos are the first thing customers notice. Great photos significantly improve booking rates.
Adding Photos
- Go to Account → Fleets in the navbar → Click on your unit
- Click the Photos tab
- Drag and drop images, or click to browse
Photo Best Practices
What to photograph:
- Exterior from multiple angles
- Interior/seating areas
- Dashboard/controls (if applicable)
- Key features (stereo, shade, storage)
- Safety equipment
Photo tips:
- Use natural lighting when possible
- Clean the unit before photographing
- Remove clutter and personal items
- Shoot in landscape orientation
- Aim for at least 5-8 photos per unit
Cover Photo
The first photo in your gallery becomes the cover photo—it's what customers see first when browsing. Make it your best shot that clearly shows the unit.
To change the cover photo, drag images to reorder them. The leftmost image becomes the cover.
Description
Your description helps customers understand what they're renting and imagine their experience.
Writing a Great Description
Structure:
- Opening — Hook them with the best feature or experience
- Features — List key amenities and specifications
- Ideal for — Describe perfect use cases
- Included — Mention what's provided
Example:

Features: Bluetooth stereo with aux input, built-in cooler, swim ladder, USB charging ports, and comfortable lounge seating throughout.
